QEOS to Demonstrate Ultra-low Cost Gigabit Wireless Systems at IMS 2015

QEOS, Inc., a leading provider of connectivity and sensing CMOS millimeter-wave solutions, will be showcasing its QW6032 at GLOBALFOUNDRIES booth #637 during the 2015 International Microwave Symposium. The QW6032 is the industry’s first all CMOS 60 GHz wireless product co-designed with high performance antennas in a proven volume manufacturing flow for outdoor applications. The QWave product line consists of high performance, low power solutions, which enable the deployment of a complete gigabit wireless link at sub $1,000 price points including the antennas.

The QW6032 is an adaptive CMOS 60 GHz millimeter-wave digital radio with HD-SDI or GigE interface and high-performance antenna enabling outdoor connectivity from tens to hundreds of meters. It eliminates the need for modem, ADC/DAC, filters and costly antennas, drastically reducing outdoor link CAPEX and OPEX.

The QW6032 solution is currently sampling to select strategic partners, with broad availability expected in Q2 2015.

The solution will combine the flexibility of Nutaq’s Titan MIMO-X series complete baseband processing engine and the multi-gigabit performance of QEOS QW6032 millimeter wave radio solution.
